Current Offerings for Highly Sensitive Women

Women’s HSP INTRODUCTION CLASS on zoom

6 Wednesdays from 5:30 pm –7pm MT (7:30 pm -9pm ET)

Jan 18 thru Feb 22

6 Sessions 90 minutes long

Invest in your wellbeing and navigate life with greater skills.

Some HSP characteristics:

Do you need time alone to reenergize?

Do you find meaning and purpose in your life?

Are you acutely aware of others’ emotions?

Are you sometimes overwhelmed by the intensity of your own emotions?

Do you notice fatigue after being around a lot of people, noise, or activity?

These are just some of the aspects of living life as a highly sensitive person (HSP). Are you familiar with the term Highly Sensitive Person? HSPs make up about 20% of the general population.

HSPs have many gifts: intuition, empathy, conscientiousness, creativity and more. And of course, like anyone else there can be challenges. Did you know one reason an HSP may get tired? It is because our brains process information more deeply and frequently. One part of the brain involved is called the ‘seat of consciousness’.

Join this class to learn more about these sensitivities, how to manage them and cultivate your gifts. Discover how to set boundaries to protect your energies. Enjoy a community of like-minded women while learning how to calm your anxiety and overwhelm. Discover how you are a gift to this world and cultivate greater ease and grace.

The course is on zoom making it easy to show up from your own home.

Cost: $120 Register and pay by December 21, 2022. Pay through Venmo or by check davamoney@gmail.com 720-438-8777

If this class time does not work for you and you are interested in a future class let me know and I will put you on a waiting list.

(Class was…) Fabulously wonderful. It is great to be in a place where it is entirely non-judgmental, and each person is important. JB

dava is a highly sensitive person and proud of it.

It is known that HSPs often make great healers and leaders. We will draw on those inherent gifts for everyone to become their own healer.

This group requires a commitment to yourself and to the group. I hope you will join and bring your HSP gifts to share.

If you are interested in the class but the dates/times don’t work let me know and I can put you on a waiting list.

Re-Right Your Story class

Is there a memory from your past that haunts you, one that has come up repeatedly over time, unbidden and unwelcome, that makes you cringe and leaves you feeling depleted or damaged in some way, bringing with it feelings of sadness, anger, or regret, possibly a sense of and anxiety about the future?

This unwelcome memory, like all memories, takes the form of a story, with a setting, plot, characters and a point of view. It also carries within it a theme or moral, which often takes the form of a core belief about yourself: This happened because (or therefore) I am ____.

What if you could heal this distressing story, so that when it arises in the future, it leaves you with a feeling of wisdom, raised consciousness, increased self-acceptance and strength?

What this course will NOT do is attempt to change any of the events of your story or plaster a positive spin on what happened.

Your story will be treated with respect, as the bearer of wisdom and energy and the valued messenger of a lost part of yourself wanting to come home.

Together we will work to shift and broaden your perspective of your story and learn practices that will initiate your healing journey and guide your healing in the future.

This 4-week course will provide a safe space within which to perform a deep reading and healing of your story through practices that engage the wisdom of body as well as the mind, of the inner child as well as the adult self:

Pair work and the practice of deep listening: the listener offers no advice, makes no judgments, adds perspective by asking fact-related questions that bring added clarity and a broader perspective and framework to the story. Your partner will then relate your story back to you in the third person, shifting the perspective from the first-person narrator “I” to the second person “she/he.”

Story analysis: A practice for examining the facts of your story within a broader context and framework. Together we will define and examine contributing factors and causes and seek to better understand who you were when the events occurred. We will analyze our stories for the implicit limiting core beliefs they contain--long-held and often unconscious beliefs about who you are and how life is.

Limiting Core Belief analysis: We will explore the nature of limiting core beliefs: how/when they were absorbed, how they have manifested, and how to shift them to better serve us.

RAIN: the practice of recognizing (noticing and naming without judgment) your story when it arises; accepting, allowing that is has again arisen; investigating with tenderness what you are needing in that moment, as you would for a dear friend; nurturing yourself by acknowledging and acting on the requests that have arisen.

Movement exercises to access the wisdom of the body, including the 8 flow and the 4 dispositions

Loving-kindness meditation: a centuries-old Buddhist practice of using aspirations to connect with your deepest self and with all sentient beings.

Artwork: designed to access your creative intuition.

Ritual: We will create rituals as a group that manifest and strengthen our feelings of goodwill for each other, as fellow travelers on a brave path of healing.
